After that we had a nice dinner and bowling. Amazing time. On the way home, I was listening to music and shuffle threw on this old song that got me thinking. I’ve been lucky when it comes to the people around me. I’ve always tried to stick with positive people, and whenever I’ve ended up in a toxic environment, I’ve gotten out fast. It sounds simple, but it makes a huge difference. It felt like the right moment after spending more than 10 years there. Budapest had been a wonderful place to transition into adulthood—finishing university, starting my career—but the chapter was coming to a close. At the beginning of 2024, I started exploring new opportunities in Stockholm, and I found a consulting company that decided to take a chance on me. (More on that in another post.) davidthinks
